Tarrangower Village is a Community owned not-for-profit enterprise run by volunteers.

The Village is an independent living retirement village which provides affordable accommodation for older people. There is an elected Committee of Management, including an executive consisting of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, and up to five Ordinary members. The Committee of Management run the day to day business including administration, financial management and maintenance and, in addition, are responsible for governance, compliance and strategic planning. They meet once a month.

Tarrangower Village is a registered Charity with the Australian Charity and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC) and enjoys Deductible Gift Recipient status.

There is a Residents’ Committee, which represents the interests of the residents and is open to all who reside in the Village.
